Matäventyret is developed by 18Juni. The app does not collect any personal data. The information you enter stays on your device.

Information in the app

The app stores the child's first name or nickname, avatar, profile colour, chosen adventure, logged meals, explored foods, stars, badges and rewards. The information is stored locally in the app's database on your iPhone or iPad. It is not sent to us or to anyone else. We cannot see it.

Parent code and Face ID

The parent code is stored as a salted verification value in the device keychain, never in plain text. If you choose Forgot the code?, the app asks the system to confirm that you are the device owner with Face ID, Touch ID or the device passcode. The app only learns whether the confirmation succeeded and never sees any biometric information.

In-app purchase

Apple handles payment and any Family Sharing for the one-time purchase All adventures. StoreKit contacts Apple for purchases and restores. The app only learns whether the purchase exists, is pending or has been revoked, and verifies the entitlement locally. We do not receive your payment details or information about your Apple account. The child's name, profiles and meal history are never sent to Apple by the app. Apple's processing in connection with payment is covered by Apple's own terms and privacy policy.

No tracking, advertising or analytics

The app contains no advertising, analytics tools, third-party libraries or servers of our own. It does not track you across apps or websites. Apart from the system's StoreKit contact with Apple for purchases, the app makes no network requests.

Backups

If you use iCloud Backup or back up the device to a computer, the app's local data may be included according to your settings with Apple. We have no access to the backup. The app has no sync or export of its own.

Deleting information

You can delete a meal, a child profile or all local family data in parent mode. To delete everything, choose Settings → Delete all local data and confirm. Deleting the app removes the app's database from the device. The parent code's verification value in the system keychain may remain until it is reset. Deleting local data does not end or refund purchases with Apple.

Children

The app is used by adults together with children. We do not collect information from children. Please use a nickname instead of the child's full name. Purchase and Restore purchases are only available behind the parent code and are never linked to stars or rewards.

Questions about privacy can be sent to kontakt@18juni.se. If you contact us by email we receive the information you choose to send, so please avoid including children's names or meal history. If this policy changes, the date on this page is updated.
