FoleyJam Privacy Policy

FoleyJam is a music toy for iPhone and iPad. This policy applies to the FoleyJam app version 1.1.0 and later until it is changed.

Summary

• FoleyJam does not collect any personal data.
• The app has no accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking, cloud storage or microphone recording.
• Songs and settings are stored only on your device.
• Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store.

What is stored on your device

• Songs: rhythms, mix, the chosen sound world, picture symbol and song name are saved as files in the app's own storage on the device. Song names are free text; please do not enter personal information in them.
• Settings: the last opened song, the last chosen sound world and whether the guide has been shown.

The app does not send this information to us or to anyone else. If you use iCloud Backup or back up your device to a computer, the app's storage may be included in that backup. That backup is handled by Apple or your computer, not by us.

Deletion: delete a song in My tracks. All app data is removed when you delete the app from the device (and from any backups).

Sharing a song

Sharing is behind an arithmetic question for an adult. When an adult chooses Export and share, the app creates a WAV audio file on the device and opens the system share sheet. The adult chooses the recipient or app. We do not receive a copy. The service you choose handles the file under its own terms.

Purchases

Five sound worlds can be unlocked with a one-time purchase. The purchase is made in Apple's App Store and handled under Apple's terms and privacy policy. The app receives a verified confirmation from Apple on the device to unlock the worlds. We do not receive payment details. As the seller we receive Apple's aggregated sales reports, which do not contain your name or contact details.

Purchase and Restore purchases are in an adult area behind an arithmetic question.

Children

FoleyJam can be used by children together with adults. The app does not collect personal data from anyone, including children. Purchases, links out of the app and sharing songs are only behind the arithmetic question for an adult.

Third parties

The app contains no third-party libraries for analytics, advertising or crash reporting. The sounds are recordings bundled with the app and used under the CC0 license.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data, we hold no data about you to provide, correct or delete. You can always contact us with questions at the address above. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Sweden: Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY).

Changes

If the app changes how it handles information, we will update this policy before the change is released and show the new date above.
