Privacy Policy for Milreda

Milreda is a mileage log for iPhone developed by 18Juni. The app has no server of its own and no account. The log is stored locally on your phone.

Summary

• Milreda does not send your log, your places or your trips to us.
• The app has no accounts, advertising, analytics or tracking.
• Location data is used only on the device to record trips.
• Address search and route calculation go through Apple Maps under Apple's terms.

What is stored on your device

• Trips: start and end location, time, distance, classification (business/private), notes and any GPS points recorded during the trip.
• Vehicles and places: the vehicles, addresses and work schedules you enter yourself.
• Settings: reimbursement rate, reporting choices and permission choices.

Everything is stored in the app's own storage on your iPhone. If you use iCloud Backup, the app's data may be included in the backup; that backup is handled by Apple.

Permissions

• Location (Always): required for automatic recording during working hours and for following an ongoing trip in the background. You can instead choose While Using and start trips manually.
• Motion & Fitness: used to tell driving apart from walking and stops.
• Calendar (optional): used only if you enable calendar suggestions, and read locally.
• Siri, widgets, Live Activity and CarPlay: start and stop trips; no data leaves the device.

Apple services

Address search and explicit road-route calculation use Apple Maps (MapKit). The searches you make are then sent to Apple under Apple's privacy policy. Milreda has no backend of its own and does not receive this data.

Export

When you create an Excel report, the file is created on your device and you choose in the system share sheet where it goes. We do not receive a copy. An Excel export is not a backup of the log.

Deletion

You delete individual trips, vehicles and places in the app. All app data is removed when you delete the app from the device (and from any backups).

Beta testing

During beta testing via TestFlight, Apple may collect crash reports and the feedback you send yourself, under TestFlight's terms. Please do not include private trips or addresses in feedback.
